I'm a disciple of Jesus Christ, an uncle, a software developer, and a few more things.
You can email me at adamzap [at] gmail [dot] com.
I'm also on Github and Last.fm.
I keep an updated Reading List on this site.
I have been learning about programming and software development in general since before junior high. I now have an undergraduate degree in computer science and am employed full-time as an software developer at a university. My focus at work is Moodle, an open-source learning management system, and tools surrounding it. I am not very fond of Moodle in its current state.
I am very interested in Python, Django, and contributing to open source projects.
A listing of my public projects is here.
I started playing guitar in late 2004. I've been through a few seasons of not practicing, but I do try to pick it up each day.
In early 2010, I started to learn the basics of music production. I can now record and release my own covers and original music. It's been a slow journey, and I'm not very far along.
You can find my music here.
